My Philosophy
Throughout my career, I believe in a simple approach to working with people I encounter. That, everyone has the capacity to reflect, grow, develop, change and achieve. And, with the right support every individual person has the ability to take responsibility for himself/herself, make their own decisions and resolve their issues. The future is bright. The future is full of possibilities. The future is hopeful.

My Profile
Before becoming a Counsellor, I acquired 20 years of managerial and directorial experience working in the Catering Industry. I am, therefore, well versed with operational, managerial, commercial and financial aspects of business.

Through my own continuous personal and professional development I am now an experienced Counsellor, Supervisor, Trainer and Life Coach. I am based in Dorset where I have my own private practices in Counselling, Supervision, Training and Life Coaching in Christchurch, Bournemouth and Poole.

Counsellor
I trained and qualified as a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor. I am a Registered Member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Reg MBACP). I observe the principles and code of practice as laid down by BACP Ethical Framework for Counselling and Supervision.

In addition to my private practice, I work in a higher education college as a Student Counsellor.

Whether I work with students or private clients, I provide a safe, comfortable and confidential space for all I work with to explore their issues and to process their deepest thoughts and feelings. I support and enable them to ultimately reach the best possible solutions to their problems.

The theoretical models I work with are Person Centred Counselling, Transactional Analysis (TA), Psychodynamic Approach, Gestalt and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

I specialise in the following issues: -
• Stress
• Anxiety
• Depression
• Relationship Issues
• Separation and Divorce
• Work Related Issues
• Family Issues
• Career or Redundancy
• Low Self Confidence
• Bereavement and Loss
• Bullying
• Abuse
• Traumas
Supervisor
I am a qualified Counselling Supervisor. My qualification is Level 6 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision. I provide supervisions to trainee supervisees, qualified counsellors and trainee counsellors. I provide a space for the supervisees and counsellors to reflect on their practice, at the same time developing their skills and in touch with their own inner resources. Another of my supervisory role is to provide containment for the demands of the therapeutic work encountered by the supervisees or the counsellors to help them to maintain and restore their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

The supervision model I endear to mainly is The Cyclical Model by Page S and Wosket V, integrating Inskipp and Procter’s Normative, Formative and Restorative model of supervision.

Trainer
I am a trainer and a tutor with significant experience.
